The polymer pouch was images using the THRU-Scan.

Result

The black areas within the gray seal band are locations of signal loss, representing voids which block transmission of the ultrasound through the sample. As the voids become larger, they connect and threaten the integrity of the package by providing a leak path. This seal exhibits multiple leak paths.
