A tub was imaged using the Interface Scan technique for detecting voids between the foil seal to polymer tub interface.

Result

Areas of colors found on the bottom third of the color map are locations of negative signal amplitude, representing air gaps which reflect an ultrasonic signal of negative polarity. Please note there are no defects present at the foil seal to polymer tub interface.
