The B-Scan imaging mode, while similar to Q-BAM, provides a nondestructive cross-sectional view of a sample, however, only a single level of focus is maintained during the scan. The result is that the information is most accurate when in the focal zone of the transducer and less accurate when far outside the focal zone.
